Call to Action: Secret Formulas to Improve Online Results

Call to Action is a great book written by Bryan and Jeffery Einsberg. This book mostly focuses on post click marketing and it greatly helps us improvise and increase our ROI from our digging efforts. Have you wondered how some of the most famous site owners are getting astounding improvements in their results being published online?
Call to Action includes the information you need to know to achieve dramatic results from your online efforts. This book will prove very useful to those people who own a website or the people who design or re-design a website. It also puts light on improving businesses by providing information about them through online efforts. If you want to achieve top performance followed by accurately evaluating that performance then call to action is made for you.
It also talks about being improving conversion rates. The thing which helps it stand out from the rest is that it gives a total rare and practical approach on how to improvise conversion rates which will than automatically lead to better results and thus improved sales and profit.
Conversion rate is a term used to describe the rate at which the incoming traffic to the website is converted into sales.
I think the premise of this book is very much the reality, most of the website owners are realizing this thing now. I was impressed by the following quote in the book:
"Trying to increase sales simply by driving more traffic to a web site with poor customer conversion rate is like trying to keep a leaky bucket (your sales funnel, your web site) full by adding more water instead of plugging the holes. Instead, you need to work on keeping more of your visitors from leaking out of your process on the way to the close of the sale."
This clearly shows that we find ease in thinking that more traffic will solve our problems but the case is opposite. We don't just need high traffic, adding more life and content worth remembering will take your website to the top and that will solve problems.
Researching and understanding the needs of the clients is an important part of the process. Planning, structure, communication and value are the main categories that make up the persuasive tech design. Planning gives a brief idea of what is to be picked and what is to be left, followed by structure which is the outline of the process. Communication holds up the links strongly and value tells the quality which are the important and consisted parts of the following process.
Call of action is an informative book that explains the processes needed for the betterment of online results. It is a must read for all the website owners who wish to take their website on the top.

How to Drive Traffic to Your Site for Free - Article Marketing

Though this is a free method of driving traffic to your site, it is a very powerful method over time.
The problem is you don't see results immediately... you see results over time. And that's where people get discouraged. They submit 10 articles to a couple of article directories and they are like 'What the heck is happening? I'm not rich yet? This method is crap!'
The thing is it is a method that pays big dividends over the long haul. By the time you've written tonnes of articles, they begin to pile up and the search engines begin to bring up your pages in search results.
You begin to see a steady flow of traffic to your site because your articles will come up at the top of the search engines (using SEO techniques). This is what search engines love. They love good quality content; content that gives people useful information; content that gives solutions to people's problems.
Your article could be submitted to hundreds of article directories, posted on other people's blogs as a guest blogger, or placed on your own blog.
Out of all these I prefer articles on my blog for the following reasons:
1)List Building
This is very useful, especially if you are an affiliate promoting other people's products and services. All you need is to direct people to an opt-in page through a link you ask them to click on.
And there are things that you need to do to motivate people to opt in like giving free ebook or video training if they choose to leave their email address.
2)Search Engine Friendly
Search engines love blogs. This is because they are sources of information. But this will only work well for you if you have valuable content, not just keyword-packed low-quality articles because the search engines continually tweak their algorithm to filter out the chaff.
And to make your post appear at the top of search engine search results, you may want to learn SEO techniques too
Submitting Articles to Article Directories
This also has its own advantages. For example if you submit your articles to a directory that ranks high and gets lots of traffic, then you're going to get lots of traffic to your site too. That is the reason why I love EzineArticles. Google loves EzineArticles. The site gets up to 1 million visitors per month. That is huge!
So submitting your articles to EzineArticles can be a source of good traffic to your site too, especially when you have a well written resource box that makes your readers go to your site.
I hope you enjoyed this article. Go ahead and start writing articles right now.

DreamHost Review: My Personal Experience in Setting Up My Account

In case you're looking for a reliable hosting company to host your site, this review will help you to decide if DreamHost is good for you. This is my own personal experience with them.
I went to their site through WordPress page. The fact that they are approved by WordPress is one of the reasons that made me sign up with them. It's simple. There are many gory tales about people's terrible experience with many web hosting services. So in order not to have the same bad experience I searched the internet thoroughly for a hosting service that has been tested and trusted.
So when WordPress recommends a hosting service, when I was actually researching what hosting to use, you know what that means. Apparently WordPress would not recommend a hosting service that will provide poor service for their customers as that will also affect their own image.
This is what WordPress says on their site:
'There are hundreds of thousands of web hosts out there, the vast majority of which meet the WordPress minimum requirements, and choosing one from the crowd can be a chore. Just like flowers need the right environment to grow, WordPress works best when it's in a rich hosting environment.
We've dealt with more hosts than you can imagine; in our opinion, the hosts below represent some of the best and brightest of the hosting world...
DreamHost
WordPress 1-click install, auto-updates, unlimited hosted domains, and great support! DreamHost powers over 600,000 WordPress blogs and websites globally, and offers a 2 week free trial, a free domain name, plus unlimited disk space, bandwidth, MySQL databases, and email addresses. Easily install your favorite WordPress plug-ins, and rest easy with our 100% uptime guarantee.'
So I signed up for the shared hosting for $8.95/month which is very cheap. I filled the online application form and within 3 hours of my application my account was approved. So I chatted with their customer service to find out when my website is going to be up and I was told it's going to be up within 4 to 8 hours.
When I checked back it was up within 6 hours (that is about 3:55am after I finished chatting with the customer service representative by 10pm the previous day).
And so I installed my WordPress blog by a one-click installation. That is another good point that attracted me to their service. I mean instead of learning a lot of stuff or memorize lots of codes just to host my blog all I had to do is click on Install icon and boom! My site is up and running.

How to Make Your Article Marketing Work For You

Article marketing works. It is a medium you can use to market products, whether your own products or affiliate products. It simply involves writing articles which make people want to come to your site or to your landing page.
Now before you start getting excited, I have to tell you that you have to give value first before people would want to purchase something from you. You just don't put together one or two crappy articles all in the name of getting traffic. No!
That's just plain wrong.
You have to put the interest of your customers at heart first. This reminds me of the Law of Compensation which states that 'The amount of money you are paid will depend on the need for what you do, your ability to do it, and the difficulty in replacing you.'
So you have to give valuable information to your readers.
Now what you want to create when you write your articles is what is called CURIOSITY. You want them to WANT MORE of what you have given them.
And they can only want more of what you have given if what you have given is valuable. So the idea is to give them a taste of the delicious meal you've prepared so that they will be the ones ordering more.
Now how do you do that? You give them useful but incomplete information. Yeah that's how you do it. Now that you've given them a gift (something you gave them for free), they would trust you as an expert and someone who is willing to add value to their lives first, not just telling them to buy something from you on the first meeting.
You have to give before you receive. Give and it will come back to you. That is the way it is. That's the Law of Sowing and Reaping.
So when you give a very informative article about how to solve a problem and you tell them that they can get MORE information if they go to your website, they will go there excitedly. This is because they now trust you as an expert and someone who is willing to be generous with their information before asking for something in return.
Examples of information you can write an article about are 'how to make more money in less time', 'how to import cars without stress', 'how to get a visa without going to the embassy', etc
Keep Writing Articles
DO NOT ever quit. Don't just stop writing articles because after a month of writing there is no traffic to your site. You have to keep on believing you'll succeed before you have your breakthrough. You have to stick to it. Keep on writing and adding value to lives. Share the information you have. The rewards will come if you don't give up.
Write Regularly
Don't write articles once in a blue moon and expect instant results. Write at regular intervals. This helps you in the following ways:
1) Search engines love sites that are content-rich and are always being updated at regular intervals. It helps you rank high in the search results.
2) It motivates people who have been to your site keep coming back. I mean, why should they come back if they keep seeing the same old articles they've read a hundred times on your site?
So what is the summary of the above point? It is automation. Article marketing automates the internet marketing business. It automates your traffic. That is why it's even good to contribute your articles to article directories like EzineArticles which ranks high in terms of traffic on Alexa. Once your articles are there, they are there for life and they bring residual traffic to you.
Keep Your Articles Short
The reason is because you want to keep people's attention. You don't want to bore them to sleep. You want to go straight to the point. I will suggest you keep it between 400 and 1000 words. There are a few times that your articles might have to be longer. But do that ONLY if it is absolutely necessary.
Write in a Professional Manner
By that I don't mean you should write your article if you're writing a formal speech. As a matter of fact you should write your article using simple, informal words as if you were talking to a friend. It makes you connect with your audience and makes you interesting. What I mean here is to reread your articles to make sure your spelling is correct, your grammar and punctuation are correct. The way you write can give people a good or bad impression about you.
I hope this article has given you lots of information on how to get started. Start writing articles today and make success out of it. Good luck.

Top 4 Tips to Increase Your Social Shares

Social signals have been in the spotlight since 2010, when Search Engine Land's Danny Sullivan first blogged about them. Shortly thereafter, Steve Cutts confirmed in a video that Google does consider these signals.
This should come as no surprise. Social signals, like backlinks, provide an objective vote of confidence for a specific page or resource. It's unlikely that social signals have surpassed backlinks in importance, but one thing is clear: it's no longer safe to ignore them.
There a few social signals in particular that you should monitor: Facebook likes to your pages and groups, Twitter followers associated with your brand, tweets that mention your brand, Google+ Circles, and +1s.
These will change over time as social networks come and go, but as a general rule of thumb, you want a strong presence on all of the major social sites.
Much has been made of the fact that social media sites use the "nofollow" attribute, but Google still counts these when it comes to tracking social status. In other words, a social share is still an endorsement even if it does not directly affect SEO.
Think of it this way: a brand with lots of social media shares is likely to have strong brand loyalty. This is something of a "chicken and the egg" scenario in which a brand with mediocre SEO but with a strong social following can still rank.
The reasoning behind this is that a brand with a large following will have good conversion rates, repeat customers, positive reviews and referrals. These factors indicate that the brand's SEO will improve over time, and so Google may give them the benefit of the doubt for a while.
There are things you can do right now to cultivate social signals.
Start a Company Blog
A company blog is essential to your success. A blog provides you a great reason to create regular, unique content, and it allows you to interact with your fans on a day-to-day basis.
Additionally, a company blog gives you a space from which you can tell your own story. This is essential in the event that you're hit with a negative SEO or smear campaign. Naturally, it's also great for SEO in its own right.
You can use Facebook's comments API to connect your blog directly so that comments on your blog will appear on the social network as well. This is a cinch to set up if you use WordPress.
Create Social Media Pages
As mentioned, you should have social media pages on all of the major sites, but you should also create pages on specialized sites like LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.
These more niche sites will help increase your Web surface area, so to speak, and they will build brand credibility. If your budget allows for it, you may want to hire a social media manager to administer these accounts for you.
Integrate
You should strive to share data from one network to another as much as possible. For instance, don't just share images on Pinterest; share them on Facebook as well. Twitter is great for sharing information, but don't hold back from your LinkedIn groups either.
Interact with Influencers
Finally, one of the most important things you can do right now is to find out who the influencers are in your niche. Contact them on Twitter and begin a relationship.
Don't blatantly market your articles to them. Introduce yourself, and let them know why your content is unique and valuable, but leave it at that. Don't be afraid to share their content; they may return the favor.
